I painted or drew this beautiful big oak tree many times; but three years of drought was too much for it and it died. Because is its size and nearness to other buildings it had to be taken down. After he cut it down I asked my husband to wait for me to paint this "last chapter" of the tree's life behind he began moving it away. After all the pleasure it had given me it felt like a fond farewell to paint it at the end.
